Branch-to-branch vehicle transfers
We move roadworthy vehicles between your sites on an agreed schedule: stock moves, test-drive cars, rental and company vehicles. Your staff keep doing their own work while DriveMe does the driving.
You do not need to travel with the car. The driver takes it to the destination and carries no passengers.
How it runs
Tell us the collection and delivery addresses, the vehicle details and the time window you need.
We confirm the price and the driver before anyone drives.
At collection we record the visible condition, the odometer and the keys.
At the destination the handover is signed off by the named receiver.

Customer responsibilities
- Name the collection and receiving contacts, and when they can be reached
- Make sure the vehicle is roadworthy, registered and insured
- Hand over the keys as agreed, or give documented key-box instructions
Not included
- Towing, or moving a vehicle banned from the road
- Repairs, servicing or any technical assessment of condition
- Storing the vehicle between transfers
Responsibility boundary
DriveMe is responsible for the agreed transfer, for documenting collection and handover, and for the schedule. The vehicle’s condition, registration and insurance remain the customer’s responsibility.
Vehicle eligibility and refusal rules
- Valid registration, insurance and legally required inspection.
- Correct seasonal tyres and safe tyre condition.
- Sufficient fuel or battery to complete the planned route plus reasonable reserve.
- No active driving ban, unsafe damage, serious fluid leak or critical warning.
- Normal controls compatible with the assigned driver’s licence and disclosed competence.
- Keys and any wheel-lock key provided as needed.
A driver will not drive a vehicle that appears unsafe, illegal or materially different from the booking information. We document the situation, pause the job, and the customer arranges towing or another legal transport method. Only the base fee and incurred time stated in the terms are charged.
Price
Branch-to-branch transfer: Fixed quote, VAT included. The final price depends on the route, the timing and any waiting, so we confirm a fixed DriveMe fee in the quote before the drive. Any fuel, parking or toll costs are stated separately in the quote.
Frequently asked
Can the collection time be flexible?
Yes. We agree a window that fits your opening hours. The wider the window, the better the transfer fits a driver’s route.
Can we order several cars at once?
Yes. One request can contain several vehicles, but each one becomes its own transfer record with its own driver and its own handover.
What about keys outside opening hours?
A key box or a security desk works, as long as the instructions are written into the quote beforehand. The driver does not improvise key collection on site.
What if the receiver is not there?
The driver contacts the person you named. If the handover cannot be completed as agreed we record the situation and agree what happens next; waiting may be charged at the published rate.
