- Transporting an unaccompanied child
- Medical supervision or assisted-care obligations
- Driving an unsafe vehicle
- Unlimited waiting or unconfirmed extensions
Responsibility boundary
DriveMe is responsible for the driver and the agreed hours. Vehicle eligibility, insurance and passenger safety equipment are the customer’s responsibility. The price is confirmed before the drive.
Vehicle eligibility and refusal rules
- Valid registration, insurance and legally required inspection.
- Correct seasonal tyres and safe tyre condition.
- Sufficient fuel or battery to complete the planned route plus reasonable reserve.
- No active driving ban, unsafe damage, serious fluid leak or critical warning.
- Normal controls compatible with the assigned driver’s licence and disclosed competence.
- Keys and any wheel-lock key provided as needed.
A driver will not drive a vehicle that appears unsafe, illegal or materially different from the booking information. We document the situation, pause the job, and the customer arranges towing or another legal transport method. Only the base fee and incurred time stated in the terms are charged.
Price
Personal driver: a fixed quote. The price comes from the route, the duration, the number of passengers and the driver's return leg, and we confirm it before the trip. Fuel, charging, tolls and parking are stated separately in the quote.
Frequently asked
Does the driver use my car or yours?
Yours. That is the point of the service: a familiar car, your own child seats and belongings, no transfer into a strange vehicle.
Is the service available now?
Yes. A driver for your own car can be booked, and the price is confirmed from the route and duration before the drive.
Is there an hourly minimum?
The recommended minimum is two hours. We state the price and minimum with your booking.
Do you transport a child alone?
No. Unaccompanied child transport is excluded from the service.
Service area
We currently serve Helsinki, Espoo, Vantaa, Kauniainen. Longer moves are priced individually.
