Already booked the inspection? We collect your roadworthy car, take it to the station and return it with the inspection documents.
You do not need to travel with the car. The driver takes it to the destination and carries no passengers.
How it runs
You book the inspection with your chosen station and send us the station, time and booking reference.
Collection within the agreed window: we document condition, mileage and fuel or charge level.
The driver hands the car over at the station and records the handover.
We return the car to the agreed address with the inspection documents and confirm completion.

Responsibility boundary
The customer books and pays the inspection station directly. DriveMe is responsible for the agreed collection, driving, delivery and handover service, not for the content or outcome of the inspection.
Vehicle eligibility and refusal rules
- Valid registration, insurance and legally required inspection.
- Correct seasonal tyres and safe tyre condition.
- Sufficient fuel or battery to complete the planned route plus reasonable reserve.
- No active driving ban, unsafe damage, serious fluid leak or critical warning.
- Normal controls compatible with the assigned driver’s licence and disclosed competence.
- Keys and any wheel-lock key provided as needed.
A driver will not drive a vehicle that appears unsafe, illegal or materially different from the booking information. We document the situation, pause the job, and the customer arranges towing or another legal transport method. Only the base fee and incurred time stated in the terms are charged.
Price
Vehicle inspection run: from 169 €, VAT included. You see an indicative price on the request form immediately, and we confirm a fixed DriveMe fee before the driver is sent. The provider’s own charge, such as the inspection or the service, is paid directly to the provider.
Frequently asked
Can someone else take my car to its inspection?
Yes. Anyone with a valid licence and the keys can present the car. You do not need to be there. The inspection fee is paid at the station and the documents travel back with the car.
What happens if the car fails?
If it may still legally be driven, we return it as you instruct or take it to an agreed workshop. If it is placed under a driving ban we pause the job and agree towing or another legal transport with you - we do not drive a banned vehicle.
Does the inspection need to be booked in advance?
Yes. We do not send a driver without a confirmed slot, because without one we cannot promise intake or a return time.
Who pays for the inspection?
You pay the station directly. The DriveMe fee covers only collection, driving, handover and return.
What needs to be in the car?
Enough fuel or charge, correct seasonal tyres and any wheel-lock key. Please take valuables out before collection.
